  1. PWRDOS is the complete transcript from Sept. 3, 1993 through May 11,
  2. 1993 of the PowerDos topic on GEnie and the Atari Roundtables.
  3. PowerDos is a GEMDOS replacement for the ST.  If you use free software,
  4. you will find that you will experience dramatic speed-ups of your disk
  5. input/output, a limited form of multiTasking, and more.  I would say
  6. though, that looking through this file, that there are still problems
  7. with the system.  Some people love and and find that it works fine for
  8. them while others have numerous problems.  Oh well, it's still a very
  9. interesting read.  I'm expecting to try PowerDos out myself!  This
  10. topic deals with an older version of PowerDOS.  See PDOS_112 in the
  11. UTILITYS section for the newest version (as of October 14, 1993).  This
  12. version seems to have fixed some of the problems in earlier versions.
